Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
CapabilityGrid ("we", "us") provides software for mapping and managing organizational capabilities. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account we collect your name and email address, and authentication details handled by our identity providers (such as Google sign-in).
Workspace content. Information you enter while building your grid — descriptions of your organization's teams, processes, tools, objectives, and assessments — is stored in your organization's workspace so the product can function.
Usage information. We collect basic product analytics (pages visited, features used) to understand and improve the product.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve the CapabilityGrid service, including generating AI-assisted drafts of your capability grid from the information you provide during onboarding. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your workspace content to advertise to you.
Workspace isolation
Each organization's data lives in its own isolated workspace, enforced by access rules at the data layer. Members of one workspace cannot access another workspace's content.
AI processing
During onboarding and in AI-assisted features, the information you provide is processed by third-party AI service providers to generate drafts and recommendations. This content is used to serve your workspace — not to train public models.
Data retention and deletion
You can request deletion of your account and workspace data at any time by contacting us. Trial workspaces that remain inactive for an extended period may be removed.
Service providers
We rely on infrastructure and platform providers for hosting, authentication, and email delivery. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
